Jack - excellent preamp.  I had an SLP-03 in black and really thought highly of it. Great sound and flexibility.
And, Cary Direct made me the proverbial 'too good to be true (or at least turned down)' offer, which, of course, I did not turn down, on the SLP-98P I've been wanting for some time. I did go for the Hexfred power supply upgrade and will decide on the coupling caps after everything is fully broken-in. Will post a system pic after the SLP-98P arrives Saturday p.m.
