Glenn - The HAP-Z1ES is still configured from the factory with a conventional hard drive (not an SSD.) The Sony does not directly support connection of an SD or microSD card, but if you connect the SD card to a PC on your network you could then copy the desired files to the internal Sony HD either using the Sony music transfer app or via File Explorer or similar software since the Sony HD shows up as accessible storage on your network.
