For whatever it's worth, I have had the 2008 for 3 or 4 years now and it's really good (on the few occasions when I actually play a record!). I like Boulder equipment. The few times I've contacted them with a question I have received a good response and I like the fact that service is available in the USA as opposed to having to ship to some other country. Of course, Boulder equipment really doesn't fail, does it?
The only Boulder criticism I can think of is that, regrettably, some of their dealers are assholes.
Perhaps the new Preamp will be joining me, when it eventually materializes!
