Hehe. Right now I don't have any plans for upgrading my system.
Though, your hopes for me upgrading makes me want to investigate that thought.

For me, the audiophile hobby is about music, as it's for most of us. Components as an object can have some attraction to me due to many different things. But never without a specific goal regarding my taste of music reproduction. When to upgrade or make changes in my system it starts with an idea of getting the music reproduction in a specific direction that i prefer.

There were so many things that got better in sound quality with the purchase of the Gotham subwoofer. The small adjustments I made in my system during the set up of the subwoofer are so close to my expectation of whats possible that I think I need some time to figure out what can be better in sound quality and what part or parts of my system is the clue to get there. Small changes here and there, like cables or tweaks and so on can off course make things slightly better.

I regularly visit GSO (Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra) and as an audiophile I tend to compare the different music experience live and from a music reproduction systems. One big difference is the speed, airiness, micro and macrodynamics, the power of the instruments and music. The character of the deep low bass an bass is also completely different. The subsonic acoustic sound in a big music hall you can sens even when everything is quiet. If you close your eyes in a quiet space like that big space in Gothenburg Music Hall you can perfectly well hear the space and get a sense of it's size. This also makes a big difference in music experience compared to reproduced music.

To get more of that can be the next goal for my system. Maybe, one more Gotham can be one step in the right direction. Power and cone area in the bass region is probably a way to go also.

If I in the future will change my power from Krell tri amping I'm thinking of the brand Gryphon and that the power amp Apex would be a dream for me. My experience with Gryphon is great and I'v owned Gryphon myself and I love their sound.

To summarize... No upgrading plans right now, but if I guess, more Subwoofers could do it, and maybe Gryphon Amps like Apex could get me closer to the live music experience.
