The best I've heard ML3s was in a friend's place in Danville. He had X2 Series 2s and a pair of JL Gothams.
If I were to pair an ML3 with a Q7, I would definitely bi-amp the bass modules. There's no way an ML3 could drive it by itself and have them sound their best. After all, IIRC the Q7 can be bi or even tri-amped unlike other models lines (M, rest of Q and S). Ken was doing this with the Magico Ultimates.
Maybe Ken at Sound chamber just hadn't got to doing that yet.
