McIntosh MT10 upgrade: stock tonearm to SME V tonearm
Andrew, I am very interested in this latest endeavor. I remember reading in MT10 threads, likely here at AA, that clearaudio advised a MT10 owner that it was not possible to replace the stock arm with a higher end clearaudio arm. How will you install the SME? Will a custom machined arm board be necessary? I have no knowledge of switching arm boards on any turntable let alone a MT10. To my knowledge, yours will be the first MT10 to receive a upgraded arm, and what an upgrade it is ... SME V!!!!
