Ah, that's exactly what I was going to say.
Trust your ears, of course, but I would vote for the Tannoy. Classic look, classic sound and, at least in my case, I never tire of them.
Properly positioned they image like crazy, disappear completely and project a sound stage bigger than anything I've had in my home - at least 3-6 feet to either side and 10 feet up in the air. Awesome! I believe that the "coaxial" tweeter has a lot to do with it. It simulates a point source.
Decisions, decisions. Two great speakers, hard to go wrong either way.
