Now that's an interesting thought. I also have a few pieces of earlier Mac gear also that I can't seem to part with C33, MR80, MR74, MC2125, MC2255 and a Mac4100. They all work great and sound wonderful in my secondary rigs and I can't see moving on from them in their present settings. As much as I like them though I can't say that I like them as much as the newer generations. I did sell a pair of 2100's and 2500's this winter to help finance an upgrade to MC1201's and I have no regrets there.
