I had my Classé Delta amps sitting on Salamander amp stands for several years and upon moving I discovered that amp feet left a permanent imprint on the surface. It’s a nice big circular mark with Classé writing and groves around perimeter but I rather not have it on my new, far more expensive SolidSteel shelving. Nothing seems to be able to remove it. It appears Delta series uses silicone pads on their feet which slowly “seep” into the surface underneath.

What do you guys use to protect your shelves? I was thinking coasters of some sort that can withstand heavy load or some kind of audiophile isolation pads that are not too expensive.
