Has anyone tried the Ruby 6L6GCM-STR ?
Fairly inexpensive 6L6 tubes, made in China by Shuguang, usually sold for use in guitar amps. Supposedly has a thicker glass envelope and sturdier construction than their standard 6L6. An acquaintance of mine, who has been building tube amps for over 30 years and whose favorite tube is the 6L6, tells me that these are excellent. He uses them all the time in his builds, and in his own gear.
