Default WWII History Buffs

We visited the Kent Battle of Britain museum a couple of years ago, it was very good. http://www.kbobm.org

Also that year we visited the War and Peace Revival ( https://warandpeacerevival.com), a fun show of enthusiasts and collectors, described as a “military and vintage festival.” There were all sorts of WWII vehicles, flyovers, and re-enactments. My cousin (a Brit) made a career of restoring WWII vehicles, especially tanks, and acted as our tour guide. He had an interesting career, among other things working on the set of Private Ryan, driving tanks in the show Band of Brothers, recovering stashes of German vehicles in bunkers in Eastern Europe, and delivering restored Willys Jeeps to Tom Hanks and Johnny Depp.
