The Harbeth speakers I bought are shipping to me with Skylan stands, so I'll give them a try. I have set of IsoAcoustics Oreas that I plan to test between the speaker and the stand to see how that effects the sound, as well. I imagine with/without Oreas will work for me.

If I didn't have a stand shipping with my speakers, I've been eyeing the Resonant Woods Linear II stand which has the open frame design, like Ton Trager, but is more robust in construction, and less precarious to put the speaker on. I worry I'd knock a speaker off the small protrusions of the Ton Trager stand.
I know. Me, too. More specifically, I'd worry my cats would knock them off when they get a wild cat hair up their feline derrières, and go racing through the house at full-tilt.

What are IsoAcoutic Oreas? Never heard of those.
