For the power cords, this is also what I thought. Just use the stock cord supplied with the SHINDO.
However, a friend of mine made a custom cord some time ago (quite simple, not too much shielding but using the very best copper quality) and the improvement is very noticeable. 18 months later I've now asked him to build something even better for the Monbrison; waiting for his next prototype
Try something 'not colored' and you'll see.
