I have been reading thru this thread and its interesting to see how some folks have had many different paths to Sonus Faber. When i first laid eyes on a pair about 15 years ago, I said "some day", cause those sound so great and look perfect....for me I started with:
- tower JBLs in the mid 80s;
- B&W bookshelves (went back to school and down sized);
- Paradigm Studio 60s;
- Martin Logan Aeries;
- Mirage OM6s;
- Soliloquy 6.3s;
- Dynaudio Audiences;
- Von Schweikerts 4Jrs;
- Reference 3As Episodes; and
Finally to Olympica IIIs, which I consider somewhat my retirement speakers...per say......I am really really enjoying them as I come up to my first year with them...
PS -- had to respond to a thread started by someone with a Jerry shot, the recently released Cornell 77 on vinyl sounds superb on the SFs....
