The Ref 6’s break in is very real and very long. A minimum of 600 hours with continued improvement up to 1,000 hours. I know some people that got frustrated with the sound quality before completing the break in period and sold their Ref 6’s. Just be patient and run it in. Don’t make any evaluations until you hit 1,000 hours in my opinion.
