I am in this price range and my short list is : Joseph Audio Pearl 3 and Vienna Acoustics Music.
Both awesome can't decide yet.
I had Amati Anniversario but Joseph Pearl3 smashed it in my home audition.
IMHO JA Pearl3 and VA the Music are much more speakers for the money and above their price range.
