2019 has turned into a difficult one for me as no reno / move plans for the moment, and room size is an issue. So much so that I switched the 2 systems, left the miniature dedicated room and moved the main audio system to the living room.

Transformed the mini room in a bit of a study and the system there is ultra modest. A PC working with JRiver/Roon, a basic Cambridge Audio dac and then Focal monitors.

So now having moved all the equipment (and 2 racks -OMG the back aches!) up to the first floor I am faced with a very tricky room -about 7m x 3m- with lots of issues and challenges treatment wise. Will have a sound engineer friend come to the house, we'll measure everything and see how we can go about it (stuff from Vicoustic and Artnovion I suppose) without turning the living room into something my wife will set fire to!
