I am using an old Krell KAV-500 for center and rear duties, and I am using a Class A 2 channel amp (Aleph J) hand built by Nelson Pass for my main left and right speakers. The Krell is a 5 channel amp at 100 wpc +/- 3db and the Aleph J is 25 wpc +/- 1db. However, I am using Infinity Composition Preludes which play 96db with a 1 watt input @ 3 meters. My system did not come together until I purchased the SP3. Its a lot more active than audio afcionado on the SP3. I strongly encourage the purchase of the SP3. Its still the best sounding processor, and its probably under priced considering its sound and modular architecture.
