thank you. From my understanding so far, if a powered sub is connected to the main speaker outputs of the amp, it does not consume that much energy from the amp-it has circuitry to monitor the voltage without using much of the current. And if i want to spare my main speakers from trying to reproduce low frequencies, I can put a high pass filter between the interconnects and the main speaker terminals. Is this high pass filter something people actually build and use, or does it not really matter?
