I run a Croft phono integrated - all very British cottage industry, but surprisingly powerful and it has an excellent phono stage. It is a hybrid tube/mosfet affair. Drives my Quad ESL's with ease, which is no small accomplishment.

Not the last word in any thing, I would describe it as a thoroughly down to earth musical ampilifier that is built very well (the internals are very tidy) and with good quality parts, and it is very affordable, which is important to me.

I have been toying with going up the line to a Croft 25R & 7R combo, but am uncertain of the utility, when I am enjoying this so much. It does need the tubes to be rolled - NOS Mullard 8137 's are indicated (and almost cost as much as the amplifier)

It also has the advanatge of being small, and fitting nicely in a cupboard.
