I know the Aerial Acoustics 7T speaker cabinet is made in China, and final assembly done in the states. The cabinet is gorgeous. This $10k speaker would probably cost $15-$20k if everything was done here.
I read the other day the British company, Cambridge-Audio, has their gear designed in England, and built in China.
