They have a note at the bottom of their support page, “Sulfation And Battery Repair Mode” that reads;
NOTE: USE THIS MODE WITH CARE. THIS MODE IS FOR 12-VOLT LEAD-ACID BATTERIES ONLY. THIS MODE USES A HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGE AND MAY CAUSE SOME WATER LOSS IN WET (FLOODED) CELL BATTERIES. BE ADVISED, SOME BATTERIES AND ELECTRONICS MAY BE SENSITIVE TO HIGH CHARGING VOLTAGES. TO MINIMIZE RISKS TO ELECTRONICS, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE USING THIS MODE.

Mike.......A battery disconnect switch seems like a necessity for these types of chargers unless the battery is removed from the vehicle. Are there any adverse circumstances created in to day's modern vehicles when the 12 volt battery power is removed from the vehicle's circuits, like impacting computer flash settings, etc.?
