Default REL Stadium III upgrade to T9i

I currently have a REL Stadium III, which I purchased used 3 years ago, it has worked and sounds flawless since having it. Seeing it's my first ever subwoofer, not really sure what others sound like.

I have come across a little money in my budget ($1,000) and I'm thinking of buying a REL T9i to replace my Stadium III.

I have a set of relatively new, thanks to Ivan, Bryston Mini-Ts. The Stadium III blends nicely with the Mini-Ts but think, the older technology (+/- 2003) in the Stadium III wouldn't compare to the modern technology of the T9i.

Just not sure of the T9i would fill my room, which is L shaped and rather long 25'. The Stadium III rocks the house, literally and does a good job, just thinking the T9i would be a quicker, sharper, fuller sub.

Anyone have a T9i? Thoughts or impressions with them?
