Ok. I'm biting! I'm still using stock power cords. I have two dedicated 20 amp circuits, with hospital grade connectors feeding two Furman PST-10D power conditioners. We all know that the wire your house is wired with is poor quality, and the wire feeding your home is poor quality. I have provided a reasonably unrestricted pipeline to my components, and have protected them against surges, spikes and noise. Is there really an advantage in upgrading one's power cords under my circumstances? I currently have my amps, preamps and sources divided as equally as possible between the two circuits, to divide demand. Everything is plugged into the Furmans. Ted.
