Thank you Ivan. We know that you have access to virtually every brand of cable on the planet. So it is quite gratifying to read your comments.

You know, there are many people who have given up using the USB interface in favor of an ethernet network connection instead. This has lead to significant complexity in getting bits from the computer to a DAC. This includes special ethernet cables, special network switches and special ethernet isolators and power supplies. I would encourage those who are looking for a simpler solution to revisit the USB interface using one of these UsB cables.

Several people have reported that you should start out by removing all intermediate USB devices including isolators, filters and power lead disconnect devices. Try the USB cable directly from the computer to the DAC first. Then, reinsert each of your other USB devices to see if they have any positive effect. Many people say that most of these devices degrade performance compared to the UsB cable alone. One person reported that they removed a reclocker from the system, saying that the device actually slowed the transient response compared to the cable alone. He said that prior to using the Alpha UsB cable that the reclocker was clearly a positive in his system. So a little testing is advised. Let us know what you find please.
