Carl, it's good to have well defined goals. If you have space, another Gotham will help you achieve a live performance level. Regarding the Apex, it is on the ultimate level for amplifiers. As good as your Krell's are, they cannot match the Apex. But the expense is large switching from Krell to Gryphon. The Krell's are one notch below the ultimate in class A, which is the Apex, IMO. I couldn't imagine how a pair of Gotham's and the Apex driving your Fenice's would sound. You are headed in the right direction.
