At 95 pounds net, and 7 channels driven between 200 and 250 watts/channel, you don't break your back installing or moving it around if needed. Les weight, easier more flexibility in choosing room placement.
Imagine if this amp were constructed around Autoformer technology. It would be immense in size and footprint, and likely need be be a multi component amp, package in the way the 2Kw amps are. More than enough oomph to drive almost any normal 2/7 channel system, with a modest size room, provided the speakers possess decent efficiency.
I like it, and think it will be an even more popular successor to the Mc 207.
