I'm not sad at all, life goes on.
I'm just as happy listening to my Luxman and Harbeth setup without the dedicated room or treatments.
I would never do a project like that again and would never spend the kind of coin I once did on this hobby but I completely understand those that want to maximize the potential of their systems and a dedicated or at least a fully treated room is the way to do just that.
