I didn't notice that in your signature at first. Coincidence yes. Pair it with a good Shindo amp and you may not miss the ARC pre. As good as the Ref5se is I don't miss mine at all. The VR is an amazing pre.
If you have to have an ARC pre I believe I saw a Ref 40 Anniversary for sale here on AA a while back. Great pre at a good price. Not sure if it is still available. Look in the marketplace.
