Buddy is correct about the lower pricing of Luxman gear being due to their setting up the subsidiary Luxman America to allow for direct US distribution. This change actually took place in March of 2017 according to this
article. Btw I purchased the C-900u a few years ago when it was $20K but the M-900u recently at $15K, so I guess I benefited on a DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) basis.
