I have not had the opportunity to compare the Ref series to Accuphase. My system includes all the Marantz Ref gear and Thiel 3.7's. It is very powerfull, smooth and detailed. You will not be disappointed by its sound or looks. It is a tremendous value and is the equal to anything in its class.
