I ordered a set of Polyfusors and a three pack of 242 diffusers. I have been experimenting with them in two different rooms now for about a month. Here is my initial report:

1). They look awesome. Very attractive in burgundy for a dedicated sound room.
2). I have no idea how to hang the Polyfusors. Could someone explain the working of those clips that came with them? I guess I failed the IQ test.
3). Build quality is so so. The staples on some of the absorbers are not secure, and the black bottom plate on one of the diffusers was loose out of the box and fell off while experimenting. Any suggestion on how to reglue it? gorilla glue?
4). The 242s make a DRAMATIC difference. Night and day. Nothing subtle here at all. I especially prefer their impact on side wall first reflections, but they can also work on rear wall and even FW if needed. The effect is smoother sound and better imaging.
5). The diffusers are Much more subtle. I have planar speakers in both rooms and in both cases I am well away from the FW. As such I am not sure I really need or benefit from FW diffusion. It seems to make a slight difference, but not necessarily an improvement. Still I am glad I bought them.

In summary, I can say that every serious audiophile needs a box or two of these diffusers and absorbers to experiment with. They will not always make an improvement, but they will make a difference, especially the absorbers. And they look great.

Any help on how to use the brackets on the diffusers and how to re glue the bottom will be appreciated.
