So...I purchased a mpc500. Mc decided to include an extra screw on the inside to rattle around. When I popped the top to remove it, I noticed all the circuit boards are McIntosh. The unit is definitely manufactured by Mc. Not sure if it is a Mc circuit design, but definetly Mc boards and construction.
