It is all about context my friend. If you are powering high current amplifiers off the Denali then, yes, the Sigma will be very much an improvement especially in dynamics. If this is your situation we strongly recommend dual dedicated lines and using the Denali D2000/T which was designed specially for very high power mono blocks. Then run the source equipment off the D6/T.

If however you are running primarily source equipment and perhaps an amplifier of modest power potential then the difference would not be as great.

So it depends directly on how much current is being drawn by the system. This is affected by efficiency of the speakers, power amp class (A, AB, D etc), and very importantly how much do you turn the system up in volume. More volume equals more current drawn. Many people mistake amplifier clipping or speaker distortion for power dynamic current compression. The true test of a power conditioner and associated power cord’s abilities are revealed when the volume is turned up. Does the sound congeal and compress at volume? Our does it simply begin to sound more live? This is all directly related to DTCD (dynamic transient current delivery).

Bottom line: The Sigma is better and you will notice the difference. How much of difference is all dependent upon context and the value equation for you personally.
