Dan,

Actually, the dealer is offering me excellent trade-in value for the Turnberrys, on either speaker I decide to buy. The Tannoys I am looking at are actually gently used and are not the new GR version. If I am honest I prefer them compared to the new GR series, at least in terms of look. The new GR's have the walnut finish, while the used have a mahogany finish, that I think is much more appealing.

If I go for the Bryston, then I will be keeping my 501's, I don't think I will pursue tube amplifiers. On the other hand if I go for the Tannoys then I still may opt for some tube amps.

My cash outlay, with my Turnberrys is nearly the same for the Tannoys or the Brystons which makes the decision that much more.. Hmm.. shall I say interesting?..

Right now, I am sorta leaning with Bryston, and my wife is leaning to the Tannoys… Given their different presentation, there are no bad choices here… I just have to decide what I want direction I want for the next few years…
