I have the O3 in my basement. The room is ~20'x50' and the bass is nearly non existent (master set helps but it's still unacceptable), I also think the mids aren't as full sounding as I'd like.
I love the timbre of these speakers with very natural sounding female voice, string and brass instruments. It's why I bought the set. I've heard my speakers in 3 different rooms Best Buy, Listen Up, and RMAF and each time I'd be in love with the sound. In a smaller room the O3 generates rich full sounding bass (at least when comparing it to the same speaker in my home).
