I am not sure what you mean by euphonic. I think the Dart amp does 160 watts at 8 ohms. My speakers are 89db and I have never clipped my amp.

I am not surprised with your results with the pre-power combination. Soulution and Dart are really different animals and, anyway, in my experience pre and power form the same brand tend to work better.
In my experience the Dartzeel 108 always sounded beautifully but with something that reminds me of a little bit of the traditional tube coloration. Bass and high frequencies are not tube like, but the rest of the spectrum is slightly "beautified" . But is a very sweet amp.
