Damping Plates: yes I use the thick (1.25") HRS Damping Plates with two 4.5" x 14.5" plates running front to back and a 4.5" x 9.5" plate in the center running front to back. The shorter plate leaves enough space for the Stillpoints LPI which is centered above the P-02 transport. You really should try the LPI above the center of your K-01x transport. I figure it kills any remaining vibration while the disc is spinning.

One other tip: the first thing I did when I got my P-02/D-02/G-01 units was to remove the stock Esoteric feet and put them back in the box. Why have them dangling in space while suspending the units on Stillpoints or HRS Nimbus units or other after-market support devices?

The Valhalla v2 BNC cables are a true 75 Ohm design. Nordost uses Neutrik 75 Ohm BNC male connectors with these digital cables. These Neutrik BNC connectors connect properly with the 50 Ohm BNCs on the G-01/P-02/D-02.

I've tried Furutech, Sine, Oyaide and Cardas among others in the futile attempt to get quality 50 Ohm Digital cables with BNC connectors. It seems 50 Ohm digital cables (RG-58U) are for telecommunication while 75 Ohm digital cables (RG-59U) are for audio/video. Even Esoteric/Mexcel doesn't make a 50 Ohm digital cable anymore and yet they insist on using this impedance for their products with the 10MHz BNC connectors.

Finally: according to the G-01 brochure, the 75 Ohm Clock Out is a Rectangular Wave:TTL level/75 Ohm while the 10MHz Out is a Sine Wave: 0.5+/-0.1Vrms 50 Ohm. Looks like two different types of signals to me.
