I suspect that the amp will probably be a bit low. KEF have always liked power and the LS50s are no exception. However, KEF have always liked good power, not how much power. For example, my old 104aB were rated at 100 watts if I am remembering correctly. I had driven them with 200 WPC amps with no issues at all. I also had hooked them up with a friends huge Sony receiver and they sounded terrible while a 25 WPC McIntosh tube amp sounded fantastic.

The LS50s are rated at 100 Watts. I drive them with a 125 WPC amplifier and they love it. The are a tad low sensitivity, 85 dB, so they love power. Quality not quantity....
