Vienna is one of my favorite places.

The Bristol on the Ringstraße is a superb location.

Start the day by walking around the Hofburg Palace grounds, have lunch at Hofzuckerbäckerei Demel, a pastry shop near the palace and then walk the old narrow streets to the St. Stephen's Cathedral. After that check out the State Opera. For dinner, I enjoy the formal restaurant at the Imperial Hotel and then walk a few blocks to the Sacher Hotel to have a Sachertorte.
