I am a first time PMC owner. I just received a pair of Fact 8s on Friday and have been listening to them during the weekend. I've had B&W 803s for the last 16 years. I have a Bryston 4b3, and a bp26.
Right out of the box the mids and highs sound very nice. Very clear, crisp, pronounced. Nice imaging. On the other hand the low end is quite different compared to the 803s. Initially I thought they were lacking bass. I didn't hear as much impact with for ex the kick drum or even the double bass. After 10 hours of play time I am starting to get a bit more.
I am happy to have found this thread as it is very educational for me as a newbie with PMC speakers..
