I am assuming you mean one of the 350 people chosen for the Early Adopter Program vs one of the true beta-testers. I am one of those fortunate participants in the second round of the EAP for the Oppo player.
The player is a terrific bang for the buck universal player IMO and I plan on keeping it - it will essentially replace three separate players in my system (a Sony SACD player, Denon DVD player, and my PS3). The picture quality is excellent for both BD and upscaling standard DVD. The PS3 has been relegated to strictly a game machine now, which I rarely have time for these days. The audio quality overall is surpisingly good for a $500 player - my impression is that it is better than anything <$1k, and reportedly very comparable to the Pioneer 09FD although I have not heard the two together. The Oppo has separate Cirrus Logic DACs for 2 channel and multi-channel output and the 2 channel sound with the higher end DAC is better. Eventually I look forward to having the MX150 to plug the Oppo into and have it do the HD audio decoding.
The player still has some bugs with DVD-A, speaker distance settings, playing DTS CDs and HDCDs that are being worked prior to official release, which should be less than a month away and maybe as soon as a couple of weeks.
I would be glad to answer any other questions via this thread or PM. Here is the link to the player info:

) with a ton of EAP feedback.
