If I were to pair an ML3 with a Q7, I would definitely bi-amp the bass modules. There's no way an ML3 could drive it by itself and have them sound their best. After all, IIRC the Q7 can be bi or even tri-amped unlike other models lines (M, rest of Q and S). Ken was doing this with the Magico Ultimates.
Maybe Ken at Sound chamber just hadn't got to doing that yet.

I'd love the hear the ML3's with the Big Wilsons. I think that pairing was at a CES that I couldn't get to.
