As far as SACD, I for one would not miss it. I prefer the XRCD by a wide margin due to the source of the musical content (analog master tapes) and the manufacturing differences. XRCD breathes with life and analog warmth.  |
Serge, I won't miss SACD either. Actually, I would buy right away a REGA top of the line dac identical to the one of the ISIS, but with other inputs than USB : at least coax and eventually but not necessarily an AES.
I wonder if the USB / COAX adapters work well....
