I usually try to support my local dealers but Sony's really missing out on a decent sized market by not offering it in this neck of the woods.
If you can get the 240V at about the same price as the US prices, I can spread the word around in the Australian and Singapore forums
Right now the only option involves getting from Japan (step down needed) or from Europe (not widely available either)
