Chicago dog - Glad you did your homework and bought from a real dealer. I know of many people that have had horrors buying tv's specifically out of market due to shipping damage, and re packs, etc. Just curious, why would you want to buy your next tv out of your market? What is the advantage to you? I ask this not to be confrontational, but out of curiosity, as tv's seem to be about the very worst thing you can buy online or remotely. They are heavy, fragile, difficult and expensive to move and ship. In addition, the top end of the samsung and sony's are effectively price protected and not available on line from authorized dealers, and the mid to lower end sets from these vendors have so little profit in them that they do not offer any savings buying remotely most of the time.
