One sub with (2) 12" woofers has limited displacement, its like a Camaro, you think it is a beast until you take a ride in a McClaren
Subwoofage is about displacement and there is no substitute for it, then add a low inductance driver which makes tight, fast bass, then you have a sub whose driver has to move very little stroke but launches a massive pressure wave in the room, while retaining linearity, low distortion, without stroke limiting DSP fo r most deep music passages. Below 20hz is where the SUB hearing range apples and where most sub fall on their face.

Small box that is 28" cubed, lots of power 4K watts sustained, 24" driver with over 4 1/2" of peak to peak travel. Normal in room response down to 3 hz
