You should have a good time picking them out! Another model I failed to mention are the Abyss 1266 planar headphones. They sound amazing, but they require oodles of power and are made of metal mostly. They can feel very awkward and heavy after some time - kind of like having a dumbbell on your head!

The HiFiman electrostats and Mr. Speakers also get rave reviews, and I have not heard their latest models.
