Regarding internal cabling and matching external ones with the same brand -- it's all a personal choice & full loom synergy thing IMHO. Neither the two routes mentioned are down right wrong or a mistake. Looking back years & years ago, Wilson Audio was wired with MIT cables & somewhere in the W/P 5 series, Transparent Audio became the preferred internal wiring.

What I did find interesting today when I was thinking of this verses that is the following: looking at the Wilson Audio, Transparent Audio & Nordost web sites, I found there are 36 Wilson Audio dealers (not locations) in the USA.

Of those, 4 represent Transparent Cables & 13 for Nordost. The remaining 19 sell a variety of other brands. Ironically though, there is only 1 Wilson Audio dealer in the entire 50 states that carries both Transparent & Nordost.

Now, that doesn't mean to imply anything, but; we have all been to shows where Wilson Audio was externally cabled with either Transparent or Nordost (and several others to be honest).

In my opinion, should the Wilson Audio hierarchy host an event & have reservations because cabling on-hand was less than stellar & not be able to represent the "intended sound", I'm sure factory supported arrangements would be made to overcome that deficiency. What cable loom would that be -- I don't know but I'd imagine it would depend a great deal on electronics too.

For myself, I made the right move with the Nordost Odin selection for their low noise floor, low level & micro details (which I absolutely love about the amps and the cabling carries it further), the powerful bass and midrange magic and pinpoint imaging. Something I've heard and read regarding Transparent Audio too -- . I'm happy & that's all that matters in this house.

Time for some uplifting happy, cocktail, music I say -- Mamas and Papas Greatest Hits (SH mastered) (Not in that order -- ha).

Best Sirs,

Bob
