Ha!
What an experience. While the 802 Diamonds are very capable speakers, the Focals sound completely different and I love it. I have been listening to music on B&W speakers for so many years that it's almost rediscovering my music again.
The Scalas sound clearer, airier, more natural. The mids and highs are spectacular and the bass is super low and accurate. While I enjoyed my 802's a lot, I find the Scalas easier to listen to.

I am still experimenting with placement and isolation, as well as changing some cables (switching from Kimber to Cardas) so more to come.
